Registration is now open! Paypal or credit card accepted.

http://www.sytyshindig.com/register.html

Registration is split into two factions - Registrant & Guest. The difference is outlined below:

Registrant - $40 - This includes one (1) tee shirt, one (1) catered meal on Saturday, November 8th, one (1) raffle ticket for the prize raffle, a bag of goodies available at check-in, and accommodations for your vehicle(s).
Guest - $20 - This includes one (1) catered meal on Saturday, November 8th, and one (1) raffle ticket for the prize raffle.

Currently, there are 3 ways to pay:

PayPal
Credit Card (via PayJunction)
Check/money order via mail

Please pick the form of payment below that best fits you. If you would prefer to mail a check or money order for registration, please provide (in addition to the payment) your name, tee shirt size (if registrant), number and type of trucks being brought, and number of guests (if any). Payment should reflect the number of guests (e.g. 1 registrant ($40) & 2 guests ($20 each) = payment for $80.00). Mail payment to:

Michael Hood
4736 US Hwy 80 E
Black Creek, GA 31308

Make all payments to: Southeast SyTy Shindig

You can still register at the event, but the cost will be higher due to unexpected t-shirt and catering demand.

I would like to register by Paypal, but why do I have to do it twice for a guest and myself? Can it be setup to do it once for both?

It can be, but not the way that our account is setup through PayPal (we're not listed as a business with PayPal). If the double payment is a problem for you Gary, then just PayPal the cumulative amount to sytyshindig@gmail.com with shirt sizes and truck head count and I'll handle it manually.

Officially registered and paid, I believe theres around 15-20? (Hood doesnt update the site everyday).

From the count I had before the official paid registration was up, there was around 30.

Id personally love to see 50 trucks show up.

Re: REGISTRATION - Information

As of July 21st, we have 10 registrants and 2 guests that have PAID. Obviously, we had more people on the old list that have yet to roll over to the actual registration, so I expect to see that number double or triple relatively soon. I know of 3 GAST members who have yet to register and a lot of other hardcore SyTyers in the SE who have yet to register as well.....so that number shouldn't stay low for long.

For a daily updates list of those registered check here - http://www.sytyshindig.com/meetinfo.html

Tim, I'll shoot you a list of shirt sizes and quantities once the pre-reg has ended.

I never knew we picked a design yet.. :dunno:
Me either, but luckily a design isn't a prerequisite of determining shirt sizes or number needed.

Well.. Its still going to take some time to get the shirts made. Thats the thing. I dont want to rush my go to person at the last min for 300 shirts or wait till the last min and then everyone complain because they didnt get them yet, ya see what I'm saying?

Of course I see....but we need to know a rough count before we place an order as well. If we have 35 pre-registered (reg & guest) by say, September 31st, then I'd feel comfortable placing an order for 50-75 shirts to accommodate anyone registering at the event or extra guests or non-attendees wanting shirts or whatever. I think we'll have a head count & design chosen by the end of September and be ready to place an order then......that leaves nearly 6 weeks for shirt production. I've had event shirts made dozens of times in my life (cars shows at Tucker's, local events, etc....), and believe me.....that's not rushing it.

What kind of time frame is your guy giving you on shirt turnaround?
Is he doing them in-house?
What is the re-press turnaround upon initial inspection (pending any changes or problems)?

I have a shirt guy local to me who does great work at good prices, so if your guy can't accommodate, just LMK and I'll ring mine.

Re: REGISTRATION - Information

Its a buddys wife that has her own little side business for them. She can make a bunch of them. Turn around time though I'm not sure about. I'd have to find out. For a ltitle order like 40 that wouldnt take long. But I have a feeling it'll be more l ike 100-150.

We can change at any point to anything else we want. She said we can have as many logo's as we want. Just as long as the color of the shirt stays the same. Because then we might have problems with the color combo, and how well it looks on each color shirt based on the designs.

Re: REGISTRATION - Information

I would think ash colored would be the consensus. Also, it would be a good idea to overshoot production, as we can then sell them after the event to other enthusiasts. IMO, if we have 40 attending, 100 shirts would be practical as some may want extra along with the aforementioned reasons....I know I would want 2-3 personally.
