Putting a PTE TE51 combo in a Ty. Saw the post about the turbo to IC hose, but is anyone running into an interference problem woith the heater hose to radiator and upper tranny line to radiator. What are people doing for that? And has anyone modified an ATR cold air box to fit a PTE combo?

PTE sells a 90 degree bend that'll clear those hoses/fittings, I think it was like $38, or you can use a cobra elbow which even fits better, and looks cleaner, but I'm not sure who sells 'em.

the cobra tight bend and one of the 90deg tranny fittings I sell gets the job done. We have done a couple kits and still retained the ATR cold air kit.

Hey, that Truck website is a neat one !! All kindsa parts 4 making your own Air In and Exhaust Out plumbing.

I was just starting to search for 3½" T-Bolt clamps, and there they R.
The Air In elbow on my PTE-63 needs a 3½", and the T-Bolt is clearly superior to the screw type. I may try to see if I can fit in a 4" Air Inlet system on my Ty, maybe using 3" & 4" PCV piping. It should have good insulating properties for keeping the air cool. I found a neat 4" to 3" reducing elbow @ Loew's, which appears to make a nice gradual smooth reduction.

Gary, I got the 90 degree fitting you need for the top tranny cooler fitting. I took the tranny cooler lines out of the radiator yesterday, so I have no use for the fitting. The heater hose outlet is blocked so there is plenty of room for the 90 PTE supplies. We have the ATR box with the lid and side removed as well.

I'll trade you the fitting for two wheel lock allen bolt thingy's.
