Prop Shaft ID Help

Does anyone know what kind of prop shaft this is? The flange that mounts to the diff. is different than a stock one, but the diameter of the shaft appears to be the same as a stock one. A search on here and Google did not reveal any answers.

Re: Prop Shaft ID Help

Looks just like the shaft in my ty

The shaft on the ty I looked at did not have a complete round mounting flange on the prop shaft to diff. side. Maybe he did not have a stock part:dunno:

The date on the part obviously makes it not an original part. Maybe it is an aftermarket replacement part with not added strength?

Thanks Ken. Here is a pic of my under body. It still needs more cleaning, but at least I know it is original.

Re: Prop Shaft ID Help

fuel lines still have the green paint on them, grease and wax remover makes them like new

You should have seen it a couple of hours ago before I cleaned it some. It was solid grease, oil, and dirt. Thinking of getting a steam cleaner and hitting it to really clean things up.
