precision 5758 converter help?

hello i have sy 1770 and have just recently after a few weeks of adapting my new precision 5758 billet impellar turbo found that it has horrible turbo lag

any suggestions

syclone 1770

headers
pitbull chip
stock injectors (dont understand that)
ATR wastegate
full 3" exhaust
manual boost controller (to use or not)
AEM wideband
Precision 5758 turbo
turbo tweak chip
50# injectors

I would guessing you have a pitbull for stock injectors piggy backed to turbotweak chip. a pte 5857 is the newer billet wheel pte44 , which should spool fine on the stock torque converter. The headers don't help and are overkill for your setup. So either you have the wrong torque converter install or your engine's tune isn't 100%. I would guess the tune.

I would get your ECM on a scan tool like data master, tunerpro or scan master. Adding an wide band o2 will help also. One thing that comes quick to mind is if your engine was modified with Stock injector often the fuel pressure is set high to compensate for the smaller injectors, the often results in a rich condition with larger injectors but I would go randomly changing fuel pressure with out looking at wbo2 or looking at the o2 sensor in a scan tool.

i put it up on lift today and did some checking seems my turbo flange was leaking and its a different truck now

really nice rig now smoked my buddys 6.0 swap trans am last night pretty proud now if it will just hang with the my iroc
