Well, I'm glad you gave everyone lots of notice. I'm the only one in the area running in the 7's that I know of. That was last year though and I don't have the new engine or tranny in yet. I'll see you at the Sport Truck shootout in B.G. Yes, I've already paid my entrance fee.

I'm glad you give a care. And as far as Bowling Green goes,I'm pretty sure a 9 second Syclone will win that event

Nationally or even internationally there will always be someone faster. Two more months and there won't be a Syclone or Typhoon in the clarksville area that can touch me.
I know you have some more cash to drop on that Typhoon.

Well dude, around my streets in my town,I ain't worried aboot any car or truck beating me between the stoplights. I've got a 3800 lb pig with a teeny tiny 4.3(which BTW is bone stock except for the cam & pistons)and I DRIVE IT EVERYDAY.
Bring it on.

Where were you last year when I was running in the 7's in the 1/8th?

Bone Stock??? I thought these were your mods:
"McCoy Performer(stock motor bored .030,2 bolt mains,stock heads),54 turbo,3"DP,50# injectors,no cat,ATR exhaust,Brian Green Ultimate 50# chip,afpr,ATR double pumper,aux IC,custom cold air kit,in cab boost controller,3 gauge pillar pod (boost,FP,EGT)battery relocated,rear sway bar, John Waller 4L60." taken from here
Or am I wrong?

My ENGINE is bone stock, except for the pistons & cam.Eveything below the intake is factory stock.Stock heads, stock valvetrain (except for the cam),stock 2 bolt mains, stock exhaust manifolds.
Everything above the intake is modified(turbo, injectors,IC,exhaust, fuel delivery)

Last year my broke a$$ was saving up for a tranny.Where are you NOW????

Be patient you have almost two months to be faster than all the lightnings in Clarksville. I just got my tranny and the engine should be here in a couple of weeks. Then there is the nitrous. After that see ya.

BTW, bone stock is bone stock. How can you say bone stock when it has been bored 0.030, has new pistons and rods? Yes, mine will be built, rods, pistons, honed. I won't be saying it is bone stock. Look at it another way, bone stock is what you get when you buy a GM crate 4.3 moter.

I drove mine every day. 15K miles in 5 months last year. Oh, did I mention I also towed with it.

You cannot get a GM crate motor.
I'll never see your racetruck on the street.

Let's see you go 0-60 in the three's on Franklin Street buddy.

I'm done. I pray that you'll pull up to me at a stoplight. You might win at the drags with your slicks and NOS,but I'll spank you on the street.....7.98 anytime anywhere.

I plan on running the nitrous on the street. Especially since I'm filling bottles. I've already gotten rid of the et streets for some drag radials.
My 7.99 to your 7.98. That will be real close. Oh, I mean was real close. I'm not making my truck slower.

Valves, some minor exhaust porting, more boost, nitrous, Upgraded tranny, rods, pistons, headers. Just the normal stuff that has most of the guys running low 11's without nitrous and probably high 10's with.
JL just ran an 11.1. That was w/o nitrous.

Yea easter but you are missing the point Jimmy will smoke you on the street that is what he is saying. 7.98 at the track in the Ty is a 7.98 on the street in the Ty. (TRACTION). Even a 7.50 at the track in your Lightning won't be close to a 7.50 on the street.

It is really hard to determine tenths of seconds winners in street racing. That is why it usually gets crazy when both cars are equal they keep accelerating until before you know it you're doing 130+ mph.
I guess we'll have to try it. I'm game for some street racing as soon as I get it finished.
I like having fun and that is what it's all about.

SPEEDFREAK, you are right about the traction. That is why I got the drag radials instead of the bias ply et streets that I had.

Yea but what I was getting at is the Ty will hook the same on the street as on the track. It doesn't matter if you have drag radials they are not going to hook up in the street like they will at the track. Advantage Jimmy.
