PLX WB02 Install Confirmation

I just want to quadruple check that I have this right. I would like to install the WB02 and have it log both narrow and wide bands. This is what I have.

Pin E14 - This is the stock narrow band input, I will run the narrow band setting from the PLX to here.

Pin F14 - This is where the wide band from the PLX output will connect.

Pin B9 - Make sure the PLX in grounded.

Let me know if this looks correct.

Also, anybody have a picture of the wiring with the capacitor installed?

Thanks!

you dont have to have capacitor. my books are in garage, so i cant tell you if your pins are correct

Is this your bush?
Re: PLX WB02 Install Confirmation

You don't need the capacitors with the new kit with the yellow band across the box with the touch screen ability! If you bought this one no resistors needed---

Re: PLX WB02 Install Confirmation

On the older PLX's the narrow band was "simulated." Not sure what the difference is but I run both O2's. In fact if someone can post the difference, if there is one, that would be nice.

Great stuff guys, I really appreciate it. There was information overload when I searched so I just wanted to consolidate the answers. Thanks Again!

^^me 3, but i already have 2 bungs, with 2 sensors, so i could run NB using the second that is currently not being used.

Re: PLX WB02 Install Confirmation

This is a really dumb question but if someone could break it down as if you're talking to a 12 year old why would or wouldn't you hook up the red wire on the upgraded DM6 outline that was posted. I've got the stock 02 still hooked up so do I just disregard completely or am I missing something?

Re: PLX WB02 Install Confirmation

Nope, leave the stock NB connected. DataMaster will log both (can't be positive about Tunerpro because I don't use it) If you have the later TT chip it will emulate NB so that connection isn't needed but it's OK to leave it. I run both -without- using the PLX to "emulate" NB output. Eric has told me that when a WB is connected to the ECM he would rather have his chip emulate the narrow band. Switch 4 on, page 10 in the TT instructions.

It's confusing but if you just leave the NB and make the correct WB connection to the ECM without using the NB wire from the PLX you should be fine.
