Plug Gap/w MSD?'s

I have a fairly modded truck with an MSD-6AL, Walbro FP, AFPR @48 psi, Ulitmate Chip, 3-in Exhaust, and NGK UR6 plugs. What do you people think I should gap my plugs at? MSD book says arround .050? I am currently at .035, what gives?

keep it at 35, i think that msd book is for n/a apps, because of our turbo the cylinder pressures are much higher and much more violent calling for a smaller gap, you can try .40 if your feeling saucy

I am currently running my UR-6 plugs at .045 however your results may vary (I have MSD6A). Try different gaps and note the performance differences. Your truck may not respond well to large gaps, or small gaps for that matter. Try and see...

I like .035" at stock or near-stock boost levels. Or, .032" if you run high boost. (Same settings, with or without MSD.)

If I were you and sufficiently motivated, experimenting with a larger gap seems like a good idea. If youve got the juice then the arc has a better chance to hit a combustable with a wider gap. With the turbo pressures you probably cant push it too far though.

witha crane hi6, ps92 coil, 17psi boost on my stang, i run gaps at .048.
the hotter ign will spark a wider gap, tho not much under serious boost - 045 should be fine with a good coil, wires, etc and a box - this will wear your cap even faster, tho

From what i've seen, you can't compare any other vehicles with Syty's, especially when talking about such a specific question as this. Especially when it comes to recommending gaps. Daron knows his stuff, and I believe a large gap works on his truck, but I'd still recommend .032-.035" to most, and let 'em know that larger *may* work, but causes problems in most.
