PCV 1 or 2???

are there 1 or 2 pcv's on sy's.... read somewhere that they had 2????

There's 2, both on the pass. side valve cover.

one you can see. other is under the intercooler close to the FPR area.

make SURE you get the AC delco 799C with the "E" stamped in the bottom.

Someone recently said they took them out and just put Breather filters in both valve covers.
Are there any negatives effects to just running filters?

Thought the idea was to "Vacuum" the gases out of the crankcase and keep it ventilated with fresh air.

Yes, you will get no vac pulling vapor out of the crankcase while you are in vaccuum, or boost. You will have higher crankcase pressure which can act as a force pushing back up against pistons trying to go down. Could also lead to oil leaks in the turbo and near the filter.
