is the oiling system on a 4.3 the same as a 350? i had two different opinions , one from a experienced engine builder and one from a nascar/gm engineer. the engine builder said the oiling system needs improvement like deburring and re routing and the engineer said that they do not do anything to oil passages on nascar motors. can someone help?

Production blocks and SB do NOT have the same oiling system.
Bot Tie 4.3 blocks can be converted to SB style oiling
Production 4.3 oiling can be improved but in my experience wont tolerate extended periods over 8k RPM in a wet sump configuration no matter what you do.

Your "nascar engineer" is 100% incorrect from everything Ive read, done myself, and spoken to BGN engine builders about.
