Oil Pressure

What does everyone's pressure read. Mine is all over the place. It reads above the top line at crusing speeds.

my volt meter and oil pressure gauge are doin the loop dee loop! wtf??? anyone have a solution??? i know someone pulled the gauges out and made their own stop pin. thats great but kinda useless if the gauge still isnt reading correctly.

Jesse,
I seem to remember George replacing the oil gauge in your truck. You could either have an oil sender problem or a gauge problem.

Is there a way to adjust the pointers position? Will a bad sending unit cause eratic readings?

There is a procedure in the manual, where you can check for proper operation of the sending unit. I'd try that first. If it checks good then we can go into what it takes to get the gauge out. Asking George what he did when he replaced it may reveal some answers.
