Noisy 2nd gear fixed

I was a little disappointed after the $$$$ I laid out for my tranny parts & labor to assemble it. The reason being that it was noisy after it shifted into 2nd. It almost sounded like a worn out throw-out bearing.

Well, while I was underneath checking for loose stuff, I found that my Super Servo cover was hitting on the tranny tunnel. I got my trusty sledge and a long piece of aluminum to bang on and custom formed the tunnel around the servo cover. No more touchy.

No noise now. Shifts a hell of a lot better than it did. I feel much better now.
And I found that my propshaft loop was loose also.

Just a FYI for everyone with the Super Servo installed.

I had to remove mine completely. The piston inside was hanging up on the apply pin. Second would be delayed, then bam. 4th was hard to get, when it would finally go in(after adjusting TV cable to increase line rise vs throttle)it didn't want to let go and the engine would lug, just like in a standard when you have it in too high a gear for rpm. Took it out, put the stock style back in with new apply pin and no problems. It's only money right? Good thing I'm young so I can kinda absorb that loss over time :-?
