Installed my plx this weekend. Couple of tips for any newbies out there who have never done this. I ran into a few snags along the way but it wasn't that bad.
1. buy more heat shrink tubing than you think you will need.
2. when installing the capacitors, leave at least 3-4" of slack before the ecm spade connectors. i needed a little more slack than originally measured.
3. use the grommet under the passanger carpet. its perfect location.
4. removing your stock o2 may be a bitch. mine wouldnt budge even with a torch. my solution was to wip out my sawzall, and cut the little sensor part of my stock o2 off. after this i could get a 7/8 deep socket on it with a breaker bar/pipe. came right out.
5. installing the new bosch senor: my sensor would not "screw" right in. the old sensor would not even thread into the extra bung i got with my wideband purchase. i was really pissed and upset, thinking i got metric threads instead of standard or vise versa. i then decided to hit the threads with my propane torch and rub the shit out of the threads with a small wire brush. BAM went right in.
6. if you dont have a propane torch, they sell 14oz bottles with torch tops. i actually like these better beacuse you can bring it any where.
7. the ecu is a bitch to get back in the dash. take your time and breath. it seems to go in on a slight angle back and to the right if that makes any sense.

) and it made the install REALLY easy. i tried to wire it in to the ECM with the capacitor and all, and it never seemed to work right, so i took everything out, and redid it the "simple" way. it works great.
