I bought a set of used 50# msd injectors #17104487. They were tested in a commercial injector tester for spray pattern, pulse width and output. They passed and were balanced in output. Are these the right injectors?
I put them in my typhoon with the 50# chip and the truck ran so rich with or without the ultimate chip in that I removed the injectors and went back to the stock chip and injectors. The car was tuned up and no codes were set even when the 50's and ultimate 50 were in place. The truck runs fine reverted to stock. I did put the ultimate in backwards first, the truck wouldn't start. After reversing the chip, I was able to get the truck running with the above unsatisfactory results. Maybe I corrupted the 50 ultimate chip when I had it in backwards. I would like to verify that these are the correct injectors to use. I called PTE and was told this was the correct number.
