KB Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

I wanted to get all fancy-shmancy and upgrade from a Martone AFPR to a polished KB AFPR.

The *%#&@ thing leaks. Is the plastic spacer supposed to fit snugly on the regulator? It does on my stock FPR, but on the KB it's a little loose. Changing seals doesn't help and it's not leaking from the supply line. I put the stock one on as a test....dry as a bone. Any suggestions?

Nope...I meant seals=o-ring...changed em. no difference.
I also tried the o-ring from the leaky KB on the stock FPR....no leak.

I'm positive it's the spacer fit, but I want other opinions. Gonna be pissed if this is a paperweight!!!

Somebody must have seen this problem before, right?
Is there a part # for the spacer?

ive seen one where they neglected to install an o ring that is internal to the thing. leaky. Im not sure about the loose plastic spacer?

Your probly better off returning it then f-ing with it, assuming they answer the phone.

I wish I could help out here since I have done a number of KB installs. I have yet to have a prob like you are experiencing.
I would assume that spacer fitment would be somewhat key, especially if it was too short? Odd that the stocker doesnt leak and the KB does. I would lean toward sending it back for an exchange. Hopefully they help you out.

Thanks guys...trouble is, I polished the AFPR. I can't imagine KB taking it back now. I know I didn't FUBR the part that holds the o-ring and spacer, because I removed it before polishing. I guess I have to try another spacer...or sell the whole thing for parts
