I just picked up a set of ATR headers from Bubba. Before i put these on do i need to do anything to them like coating? Should i do anything to the wires? What about gaskets and such? O and how hard are these to install? My truck is at the shop with the tranny out if this helps. Is this something that i can do in the driveway?

You can do it in the driveway (Garage is better if you have one), but you better plan on spending the weekend doing the install. Oh, and make sure to have your 'abusive language' vocabulary handy, cause you're gonna need it.

If it were me, I'd try to get some stuff out of the way beforehand, Like remove wheelwells for one. Try to drain your I/C the night before too and possibly remove the CCHE, fan/shroud, etc. so you can get right at the project when you're ready.

Make sure you have a puller for the power steering pulley.

Dunno what else to tell you? Maybe someone else will chime in here.

Have Fun!? :-?

You will also need a BFH2000. Three cases of your favorite beer and a bottle of MadDog 20/20 for when you decide to pull the motor.

I rule!!

neah, I have my heads and everything off on mine right now so it will be easy for me. Once I get them from ATR I keep getting a "Well you get'em next week"
