intercooler pump question

I will be replacing the radiator in my ty soon. As long as I am doing that I think it would be a good idea to replace the intercooler pump. I am pretty sure mine has died. Gee it is only 10 years old and has 121000 miles on it
Any way I gather that the Jabsco is the way to go. I also gather it might be a good idea to have it run whenever the truck is on. Any thoughts on this. And finally is there a "step by step" instruction for doing this ? Thanks a lot
