humming noise!

my syclone is making a humming noise when going past 50 mph and about 70mph and when you let go of the gas pedal the noise stops real quick and when you push the gas pedal it starts again, not very loud but you can hear it, and its coming from the front. put the truck in the lift and saw that the driver front axle boot was torn, would that cause that humming noise. checked the transfer case fluid, and full and front axle, fluid is full. and thanks for any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like an exhaust leak if its gas pedal related.

just an idea but, would a torn turbo to intercooler hose or intercooler to throttle body hose make a noise like that.

I think truck performance would let you know if you had a leak like that. Your boost guage would also tell you.

Yep, I blew my hose off and boost went to crap.............Did you check the altenator or does it sound like it's coming from under the truck?
