. anyway he left and then I left. I pulled right on by then about 400-500 feet out the truck got lazy WTF? Then smoke came up through the colum any way I held on till the 1000 and costed to the quarter. Won by about 7-8. He said he missed 2nd and wanted to run again. But alas the truck was missing

took it to the shop and it had blown the valvecover breather off. and now has quite a bit of blowby(damn it) But heres the funny thing it has a miss at low rpm idle to 1700rpm( not a bad one just noticeable)and when you riv it the blowby comes out the valve cover. But it doesnt smoke out the exaust, not water and oil mix, and no knocks? Ohhh well now I got two broke toys.

All this was with a stock motor with a pt61, 50#er, alki, and 28psi. Guess they dont make them like they used to LOL. Hell it only had 137,500 miles on it. Bearly even broke in.

Re: High psi kills!!!!

My guess is that one or more of your PCVs got stuck or fouled causing a bunch of back pressure which caused oil blow by causing fouled plugs. I assume that at the shop they checked for fouled plugs.

I would check all of the lower vent things (PCV and hoses) (include what ever you have changed from factory). Check all of your vacuum lines to make sure none blew off. Check all of the plugs.

Good luck.

Re: High psi kills!!!!

I ment I took it to my shop. Just got the plugs out and they are fine. One was on the white side of tan and the rest are brown. Looks like its time to do a compression test and see what the numbers say. All the pcv's still rattleand none of the vac lines are poped off.
