High Boost = weird RPM...stuff

When i turn the boost up i noticed that when floored and whatnot sometimes the RPMs like to jump around a bit and i feel the car jerking a little. It does not seem to do this on low boost. Any Suggestions.

Also my when i get off it sometimes and the RPMs drop to a grand...it jumps up 500 RPM..falls, Jumps..falls, and on and on mabey 5 times.

Any suggestions would be great.

My Tach keeps fluttering What causes this?
Telltale Ignition problems. Do tune up with the above listed products.

Tach Dance = Ignition problems.

Cap, rotor, wires and plugs for a start.
Then maybe coil, ignition module, and distributor pick ups.

I did cap, rotor, and spark plugs. It was doing that before i did the tune up and still continues after. Its been happening for awhile.

What parts did you use? What gap on the plugs?

Like we said, it's almost for sure an ignition problem.

Conrad cap and rotor.
NGK ur5 plugs
Spark Force? i believe for wires.

Try a set of Taylor wires. These trucks are extremely picky when it comes to the ignition.

Also might want to rule out a cracked ceramic insulator on a plug. What did you gap the plugs at?

that to me sounds like your overboosting.
