Help, no WOT 2-3 shift

Hey guys, This questions isnt exactly related to sytys, but it is a 92 jimmy with a v8. You guys are the best so i figured this is my best stop. In my truck i have a 700r4 that was rebuilt about 3 years ago. It shifts great except when at WOT it will not shift into 3rd. If i let out to let it shift and floor it again it usually holds. Also, when the trans temp comes up when cruising in OD or 3rd, and i go WOT it will pull to second gear.Last thing is sometimes when i can get it to hold in 3rd gear without downshifting immediatly, when i get to about 4500 rpm or so sometimes it will try to pull down again. Any ideas? Thanx guys

Ok well, i just tried to adjust the TV cable some. Ive been tighter with it before and it made it worse...So this time i loosened it 1 click at a time and drove. Well i finally got it to shift to 3rd, but all my shifts are now very soft and i dont get proper kickdowns. So i tried 1 click tighter and now i have my same problem back. Any other ideas? Thanx again

adjust the cable properly and go from there. if it still doesnt wannt shift you might have gov issues or worse, VB issues.
