I ran into a guy last night with a 03-4 GTO. Hes pretty cool, we bs on a local forum. We PMed each other that day tryin to hook something up but by the time I got it it was already kinda late. So coincidentaly we run into each other at a light. It goes green and I pull a nasty one on him. 4-5 cars out of the hole. He never recovered. So we pull over at the local racer hangout and he pratically begs me for a ride so Im like screew and I hooked it up. He was very impressed. Hopin to see a new TY in town soon?

what do you have done? I raced my buddies GTO and I was spanked Hes a really good driver though. but those are not slow cars.

3" Cat back, Waller turbo, Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller, 2500 stall converter, Walbro 255, AFPR, Cold air intake,Hot wired Shur Flo, gutted engine compartment. Stock chip.

What year was your buddies GTO? I think the 03 & 04 GTOs came with the 5.7 LS1 with around 350HP and the 05 & 06 GTOs have the 6.0 LS2 with about 400HP. They are quick but I would think even a stock truck could still take it until atleast the 1/8.

Agreed, I raced this guy when I was all stock and he was having a hell of a time catcing up.

Those GTOs are heavy as hell...I raced a 05 with the ls2 in my 2000 Z28 with basic mods and smoked his ass....he had nothing for me out the hole and to many cars on him to try to recover....Nice cars tho..... :tup: thats jus my :2cents:

I thought GTOs have only been out since '04. Shrug.

Anyways, nice kill. My Dad's got an Impulse Blue '04 goat. It's fun.
