Front pump issue?

I recently had the thrust bearing removed from my engine. My builder informed me that it was most likly a popped TC, but I took it to a local trans shop and they believe its ok, can excessive front pump pressure do the same thing?

What TC do you have?
If the pressure is to high & your TC doesn't have anti-balloon plate, maybe.

Check to clearence between flex plate and tc. I belive it should be 3/8 of inch. If its less, then yes it could /will try to puch the crank out of the block, ( wearing out your thrust bearing )
