front diff type

What exactly is the front diff? 7.5, danna 44 or something else. Anybody tryed to put a locker or posi or anything like that in one? Do they make anything for them?

IFS 7.2 or 7.5 -I think cant remember off the top of my head as i dont build many diffs, and there is a locker for the sy diff on sytyperformance.com so I am sure there are guys that have used them already.

One of the guru's might post up later but most the time the words USE THE SEARCH BUTTON will come out before any answers lol.

I am a mecanic by trade. I work at a kenworth dealer. I build trans at work. Not saying that means I know what I'm doing with something like this, but I should be able to catch on fairly quick. I did build the 12 bolt in my chevelle. And ya a traction device in the front just might be a bad idea. I was just thinking. The second thing looks like some sort of wear sleave. Maybe a bearing spacer. I have no idea what the first thing was.

That's fine. Wasn't thinking you was talking about just me. So what are the two mods?

I think the first is adding a fill/drain plug, and I think the second is the crush sleve replaced with billet piece? But I may be wrong on both counts...
