keeep it up. This will make it easier for me even though i have cd and the actual books when the machine shop is done in 3-4 weeks.

While your at it.....

1 How about finding and including info for degreeing your 09-412-08 comp cam and if we really need to do it.

2 How to check piston to valve clearance. i figured i would bolt one head up adjust valves on 1 cylinder, with a piece of clay on the piston. But theres probably a good written procedure for the correct proffessional way to do it.

3 How to adjust your valves before. Stuff like, can you do this before the new hydraulic lifter you bought have oil in them, or must you block all the orifices and prime the motor on the stand to do it. I know the manual gives some info.

4 add a link for plastigauge.com to your site for checking bearing clearances. I've only done 2 motors start to finish in my life and this one will be 3. Many novices or first timers may have never even heard of the stuff.

heres a number for ya:
i just ordered comp cams no 4796 $139. Its a kit with manual, video and everything you need for cam degreeing as well as checking piston to valve clearance.
