EGR Blockoff question

If I use an EGR block off, without have the ultimate....I'm assuming I'll throw a code. Will this code affect anything timing wise/other with the truck?

Is there anyway to bypass the EGR and have it not throw a code?

Computer wise messing anything up not sure. You might throw a code. I had a plate on and drove arround for about a month and never threw a code. There is a way arround the setting in the computer but someone will have to burn you a custom chip with this setting deleted. But yes it can be done.
