cv SHAFT

Yes i have searched :roll: While installing my abs delete, i found a ripped boot on my driverside cv shaft, i figure i will swap it out while i have that side apart anyway, but when i search the treads some say the ball joint has to be removed, some say just the shock and it will come out, can someone clear this up for me, is it that big of a job?? Its always something :rant:

With my truck, my CV shaft wouldn't come all of the way out unless I disconnected my ball joint. It was lacking just a fraction of an inch but I just couldn't quite get that last bit untill I did the joint.

Maybe yours will work for you better than mine did.
