Not wanting to burn up wires with my headers i did the following:

The wire seperators “start” with Russell-Edelbrock no 611146 Polished,
611147 red, 611148 blue. I recommend polished since you will be cutting them.

They are designed for a v8.
I cut one of the ends off, then rounded it and filed the edges so I don’t get cut squeezing a hand around things. The mounting holes must be elongated a hair to fit the bolt pattern. A spacer or washers must be used under the plate with the bolts passing thru otherwise you wont be pushing down the same as without the plate. I.e. the plate would then push down on the raised ribs.

The 3rd wire mount from the right you have to drill out to attach the wire mount (remember this is for a v8 originally).

Now the piece you cut off in the beginning will be used on the other side at the rear corner. Bent it so that the nut could still be turned with clearance for a socket using the existing small threaded hole at the upper right corner of exhaust port no 5. The top portion of the piece will be removed for clearance of the upward changing angle of the head. The lower hole that will remain will be used for the mount. I cut an angle on this so that the bracket can lock in against the head so that it doesn’t rotate when you torque the nut to hold it down. File all the edges to save you hands later. Some of this may be hard to follow until you buy this and have it in your hands, read this again and look at the pics.

You will have one complete left over plate and many of the plastic separator hold downs left over.

The 2 separators on the left are just store bought generic wire seperator clips to maintain order.

the blue boots are from taylor wire.
