Cool box questions.......

Just bought a Sy, the stock intercooler was taken off and there is a cool box in the bed that the guy never used. What is the process of using this? I was told to fill it with dry ice (not regular ice) and only run it at the track? So if i fill up the charge coolant, and put some ice in the cool box i'm ready to go??

man get you a stock intercooler and trash that crap....Are you going to be driving this thing on the street?....if so then that crap you have isnt going to work unless you want to fill it every single day, several times per day

The truck has been lowered and the stock intercooler was scraping every now and then (the roads up here in Maine suck) and that's why it was changed. The truck will mainly be at the strip saturdays, and cruising around town sundays...that's it. Does this cool box set up even work better than a stock intercooler? I don't mind filling the box at the strip a few times.
