check ball question

tranny is going back together soon, what is everone doing with the input shaft removing just the ball or the whole thing?

well, if you take the ball and retainer out of the input shaft., you'll have a real firm lock-up of the torque convertor. it feels like another gear when it locks up.
to answer your question, i removed both.

remove the whole thing.

so thats 2 for the whole thing, 0 for just the ball. looks kie i take the whole thing out, thanks guys
