cheap 4 bolt main conversion?

While poking around on ebay I found these:

Sounds awfully cheap to me even if they are nod iron and not the racey steel caps. Anyone else use these or have thoughts? Im thinking its one of those "you get what you pay for" kinda deals.

Well a lot of us are using their rods with no probs

The main cost involved with my conversion was the machine work. So I sprung for the steel ones. I think I overpaid for the machine work though



Might be good for a budget build up if you didn't have a syty block to start with.

ok,ok.... Old habbits die hard. I think Im gonna do the Oliver mains. Found a deal on a new set I think :wink:

I paid $150 to install the two four bolt mains - steel this time. Previously had nodular iron 4 bolts, those were the two that spun. Nodulars are getting scarce - apparently, each has its pro's and con's.
