Stock? Go WOT first to disable the first boost flag. Put it in Neutral with your foot pressing down hard on the brake and blip the throttle a couple times till the pedal hits the floor.Put it in "D" and while holding the brake put the gas pedal on the floor.As soon as it starts to go release the brake and aim straight.

This teqnique helped a bone stock 93 Ty go 13.4@99 on it's second pass ever.
The stock ECM is programmed to not go full boost on the first WOT pass.If you go WOT for a second before you actually launch it,it will be bypassed.

All I did is describe a generic boost launch.Kinda hard to believe that wasn't the first thing you learned,but glad I could help.

This should be done regardless.
If you install larger wheel cylinders, you do not need to press as hard on the brake pedal.:2cents:
It is a cheap $ & easy upgrade.

buy two sets of rear brakes and chuck the short shoes install both longer shoes

And it throws off the balance of the braking system. GM designs components to work together. On a dry road, if you slam on the brakes, all 4 tires should lock up at the same time. With larger rear wheel cylinders, the rears will lock up first, and the rear end will potentially try to swing out. F*ing with the brake system is not as mindless as people make it out to be.
