Camaro SS Wheel's

I wanted to find out if a set of 1999 Camaro SS rim's(ZR-1 Style)would fit my Typhoon. I can get them for under $400.00 and I want to powdercoat them to match the grey cladding of my Typhoon. The size is 17x9 on all four rim's. I want to eventually get 17x11 for the rear's, but thought the price was too cheap to pass-up.

Hey Joel, do you have any overboost problem with the 3" exhaust and having the cat removed? Do you think the Ultimate chip helps in that area?

When I purchased the truck a couple month's ago the owner told me he never experienced any overboost problem's with no-cat and 3" exhaust. I believe some truck's overboost and other's do not. I had the truck on diagnostic equipment yesterday and there was not any sign of overboost and knock was low. I am going to buy a datamaster program so I can monitor these paramater's in the next couple of week's.

Hey Joel, if you don't mind keep me posted on what you find on the datatmaster. I have a very similar setup and haven't noticed any signs of detonation or overboost. I'm planning on buying the datamaster software myself.

JetChip? Are you nuts? When did they make that chip? in the 90's the ultimate is SO much better. Why do people insist on giving bad advise?

Bad Advice! Bad advice is better than no advice. Hard to get an answer here, only criticism. Some people have a real attitude problem.

Sorry to add more criticism.. but this statement

Bad advice is better than no advice

Is DEAD wrong IMO, and a fact that keeps people who have a clue real busy trying to correct others.

I seem to spend half my time informing people what they should do after a shop told them one thing, or a dealer told them to do another thing, or someone on a messageboard told them what to do....

Don't mean to single you out, but understand why sometimes you see more criticism than advice spilled on the board.

I never say much unless I have something worthwhile to add to a discussion.

Marge: It's very easy to criticize, Homer...

Homer: Yes, and fun too..
