BW4472 Transfer Case swap?

I am thinking about converting my 4WD truck to AWD and need some input. I know the ty/Sy trucks can make some serious power, and the transfer cases will hold up. Looking to put about 330HP 390 lbs in front of it with a 4600# truck. Any mods needed?
I currently run a 4l60 tranny. I'm pretty sure the ty/sy/bravada ran these too so everything should be bolt in as far as getting the case in is concerned (I realize I will priobabay have to do shaft and crossmember fabrication)
I currently have 4WD with a center axle disconnect. If I run the front unlocked will it cook the viscus coupler in the Xfer?
I would like to have both worlds as far as AWD performance and 2WD economy (and the occasional smoke show)
If this xfer dosent look like it would be the one for me is there one that is?

The newer transfer cases are auto-switching. When the rear wheels slip, the front wheels kick in. It's more work to do, but tloof had a few threads here with a bunch of research he did on the subject.

Many people run RWD without problems while they have their propshaft rebuilt/replaced. However, the transfer case does basically run at 100% if the front wheels aren't spinning the propshaft.

As for your numbers...

At T2-20 (EGR Disabled): 385.8HP @ 3950RPM and 512.4ftlbs @ 3950RPM
Basically a stock truck with the Ultimate on Timing level 2, 20psi.

Also, the twin turbo V8 Sy that just ran a 9.5 is using the stock transfer case and diffs.

I wouldn't worry about it. =)
