The hood is from RK, and they did a good job on the shipping times 2 day's! No problems at all with the hood looks awesome. Good craftsmanship. I got an original GM tail gate and had my cladding repaired. Everything is solid. I hope to have it all painted soon. Things are starting to go in the right direction for #1178. Thnaks for the suggestion of the hood from RK, I would recomend it!

Jesse,

Glad you like the hood. Send me some nice JPG photos when you get the Sy done and I'll have our web master put your photos under our Customer Rides section of our site.

Later,

My Tailgat was $330, not sure what it is for a Typhoon. The scoop worked good. I had to drill 8 short sheet metal screws because my bolts broke off. When it's all painted I'll send some more pictures.

$33.30 for the gate right? I hope you didn't pay $330.00 for a brand new factory S-10 tailgate! I have 3 of 'em rust free in the barn right now. 1 of 'em has the handle relocated and a smooth skin on it. I would've given it away before I let somebody blow $330.00 on a new 1! I could buy the whole bed for that much!

I did pay $330, well the insurance did. But that could have been used on something else if I could have talked to you sooner. O'well

smooth skin, as in like a blazer tailgate, with the hole filled in?

Wow Jesse!! That is a sweet looking picture. I usually don't care for the cowl hoods but in this case everything looks great! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yep, it's a Blazer gate skin on an S-10 gate frame with a handle flip kit and interior panel off a late model Blazer so it looks nice. It was kind of a good idea but the truck it was on blew up pretty nasty with a NOS fire. E - mail me at :

If u really want it.
