Bed cover

My tanue cover (yeah I spelled that right) is in need of replacement, some of the snaps have lost thier snap. I heard a company named Lund made them but I cant seem to find them. Anyone have any ideas. Also would it deacrease the value of my truck to put in a spray in bed liner. I dont really haul much at all but even cardboard will scratch it.

Do a search, some one posted the part number for the cover from Summit, i think it was around $70. And i messured the cover from a late 90's Ford ranger RC, it have the same size, so you probebly can get a cover from your localy PepBoys. I think it's some kind of standard on bed sizes on S10 and Ranger, correct me if i'm wrong.

If you don't haul much i would go with a carpet inside the bed instead of spray in liner (heavy) you don't want to add to much weight to your truck :smile:

I would say, if your going to recover it, get a hard top, Snugtop has some good lids (best be ready to pull out that check book). If your worried about resale value, why through money into it? If you're gonna keep it, I "suggest" Rhino Hide, it has a rubbery feel to it. The cost is about $300.00 and they can put it on as thick as you want (to a degree). Line-X is about the same price but its more like hard plastic, if you put stuff in the back it would slide all over the place. If I remember right they can be sprayed in about almost any color, and I think they have glow in the dark.

I think I am just going to put the Lund replacement on and maybe a rubber mat. I dont really haul more than maybe groceries on occasion. Ive noticed sliding anything on black paint shows up really bad
