Is there any way to tell if the cat is clogged or shot without removing it?

any signs would help as i'm chasing some problems....and one other thing, i have heard it smells like sulfer which i DON"T have but it does smell very very sweet with FP at 45 or 55 doesn't matter.

TIA

Life is beter at 25 PSI
you can do an exhaust backpressure test

gotta have a special gauge to do it though

you can also use a vacuum gauge, check reading at idle and at steady 2000 rpm should be about the same vacuum. if it drops majorly at 2000rpm then that means cat is clogged cuz the engine is under more of a load.

i like the backpressure gauge test becuase obviously it's more accurate
