advice on nitto tires please...

Hey all,

Just looking for some thoughts or experiences with the nitto 555r drag radials.

Looks like my shop might become a dealer for them and I might get a good deal with the large order.

Just a few questions...

How did they hook up? What kind of tread wear mileage can be expected?

Feel free to add any thoughts etc.

I'v got a set, but have not mounted them yet. I'm still in the middle of polishing rims. I'v heard they stick lick glue when they are fresh, but the tread life is about 15-20k miles.

I've personally ran the 555 (not the drag version) They are great tires. I think just about anyone who is into the drag thing in KC is running them. Imports, F Bodys, Ect. Nitto's are the most satisfing tire I've owned.

to add to this, i just learned that there are some new nt555r xtremes. they are like the 555r's but they have a stiffer sidewall for autox or tight turns. get those.....
