Adjust stall

I want to get my Torque converter set to a higher stall. Can it be done. its a 600$ 9/11 and its only has 3k miles on it. I cant see buying a new one. Can any transmission shop do this and how much am I looking at spending.? thanks

transmission shops cant adjust the stall but converter shops can. expect to spend ~100-200.
