700r4 tail shaft question

I have SY engine and trans and its going in a s10 I'm taking off the Tcase can iuse the tailshaft off my trans out of my 93 4.3. And put it on the SY and should my drive shaft bolt up without having to cut it or add any its a standard cab short box

nope , awd output shaft is longer than the 2wd version .

You have to swap output shafts (disassembly the transmission) and bolt on the rear tail section of the transmission (easy).

I would not say taking apart a 700 and r&r the output shaft is easy or beginner . While it is doable in an afternoon , there is some level of difficulty to it .

not hard but you do need have some knowledge of trans to make sure every thing is put together properly:tup:
