how much abuse will this little sucker hold if built correct with girdle,new eaton unit and moser axles? how fast have people gone with the 7.5 on these trucks with a v6?

The TT TY has a Chris Alston Chromoly Fab 9 housing with a Moser Aluminum bolt through center section, 35 spline gun drilled Moser axles with star cut hubs and a Detroit Locker diff. I am not to worried about having a problem. Of course we can always break anything as nothing is ever bulletproof. I posted some pics on the setup...

So how much can the 7.5 take, Depends on how hard you push it. fwiw imo dont waste any money on it. fwiw broke while in the 10's i think. here ya go. ouch

I believe you had a stock rearend setup and it looks as if you don't have c-clip eliminators or you would not have had your axles come out. The moser axles are stronger than stock and anyone changing out their axles and diff should be putting in c-clip eliminators so the axles can break without coming out.

All true!
however the 7.5 wont take it. When the housing was removed we saw the housing was bent from all the abuse. As original owner, i know it wassnt bent when i bought the truck so dont waste your time on a 7.5.

well heres some good info, i will be pumping the 7.5 with goodies for a while on the stock bottom , but when it goes bowtie it will be going either 8.5 or custom 9"

I made around 200 passes ,300 + burnouts in the 10s. It finally shit the bed end of last season. Bone stocker no girdle.
