Ok let me say that installing solid motor mounts and a 80e go to gether like oil and water!! Be prepared for lots of shaking and rocking banging and prying. It took 3 of us 2 hours to line up the motor to the mounts and the 80e. Id highy recomend to any body attempting this to notch the top of the transmission tunnel at the pinch weld to gain some extra room. I aslo took the poly mount off the trans and let the trans lie on the JS man crossmember. After the motor mount bolts were in i had no problem lining up the holes for the poly trans mount and JS man braket fit perfect! Now the bad!! I noticed when installing the Gilbert prop shaft that the shaft hits the shifter leaver braket badly!! see pics!!
I also noticed that when i went to install the propshaft bols into the rear of the transfer case that i couldnt turn the shaft. I thought mabey it eas in park or in gear. I shifted threw all the gears and still cant turn it. I also shoved the rear driveshaft yoke in and i coudnt turn that either!! What the hell wrong!!! George Help!!
I aslo noticed the c clip that holds the shifter cable is loose as hell is that normal look!!
