4L60E Question

Anyone know if the 92-93 Sy/Ty came with the 4L60E (like standard S10's) or did all years come with 700R4 / 4L60?? 4L60E has the fat wiring plug to control the solenoids. Need to know for a swap. Any help greatly appreciated.

My mistake. I figured that since the s series went to the 4L60E in 93 the typhoon did too. How do people adapt the 4L80E to these trucks? Independent controller?
