Is there any difference in the block that is used in a Sy/Ty and that used in a 93 4.3L Astro?
I am thinkin of just building a "drop in motor" instead of pulling and rebuilding an OEM engine. This way if anything goes wrong I can re-install my original engine and still drive.
Obviously I will need a Sy/Ty intake manifold and throttle body. or can I use another GM part? I know for intake manifold I might not have a choice, correct? But as for throttle body.. would an Impala SS throttle body work? I think Summit Racing has aftermarket throttle bodies for those cars. Thanx.
