I haven't had that many races in the Ty and only a couple of those were really newsworthy in my opinion but this is a kill forum so I've posted them all. This on however put a real smile on my face.
Two days ago I'm on Airport Way heading toward downtown Seattle. It was near the Metro bus storage is so there's very little traffic. I pull up to a light and there's a very nice 300c sitting there. Nice rims, tint and Hemi badging. Looked pretty pricey. I can't see the guy in there because of the tint but I assume anyone who would pay the extra for the Hemi would want to run so I'm ready. Sure as shit the light goes green and so does he. We both nail it (no boost launch for me) and I pull out 1 and a half to two cars on him and hold it. I was far enough out that I could have gotten over on him without him having to let out of the gas or brake. I didn't though, that would have been pretty pissy of me. Anyway I held the lenghts on him until we got to where the buses come in and out and I got out of the gas. He passed me then but I caught him at the next light. We rolled down the windows and he said "Nice Typhoon". He seemed like a pretty cool person and I gave him kudos for having such a nice 300c. It is one of the nicest I've seen.
I don't know if he knew what the Ty was or if he just read it on the back hatch because that's the only place I have the decal but I was pretty pleased with that win.
