vibration

I am geting a vibration wen i reach 65mph i do not have a propshaft waiting for the new one to arrive. So it's not the propshaft. Any one have this problem? I know that there was a thread on this i could not find it. I will appreciate it for the help. Vibration driving me crazy.

Have you had your wheels and tires balanced on a high quality balancing machine?

OH SH*T....... NOT YOU TOO........lol , i feel your pain..... i spent mega $ chasing my vibration. there is a recent thread on this. search the word vibration and it'll come up. i have repalced entire front end , upper and low control arm bushing and ball joints , all tie rod ends , idler and pitman , all u-joints and driveshafts balanced , sent rims to be straightened and balanced , new tires , prop shaft out , front shocks , front hub and bearing assemblies , converter .... and still there. many people are dealing with this same problem , noone can seem to come up with a remedy.........

Here are some of the thing that i have done to the truck. upper and lower control arm bushing, ball joints, idler arm,and new shocks. this is what i iam going to buy nex. pitman,converter,and tie rod ends.

has anyone with this problem tried finding a known good set of rims/tires from another vehicle that will fit our trucks (even if the offset is different as long as they clear the caliper/rotors it shouldn't matter) and driven your truck to see if the vibration goes away??? :2cents:

im getting a set of z06's for mine, if that doesnt fix it it then becomes the wifes daily driver, she never gets on the highway (trust me thats a good thing) .

pullin these trans blows , if your changing your converter hoping it will fix the vibration you'll be very upset when you find out all that work and it still vibrates.... been there done that....

I have a nother set of rim's put them on and the truck still vibrats.

pullin these trans blows , if your changing your converter hoping it will fix the vibration you'll be very upset when you find out all that work and it still vibrates.... been there done that....

I have the stock converter i need to pull it out any way i want to put a 2800 stall. pullin the trans out dose suck.

my next thing is since its winter, the rear end is out and getting switched to ls-1 , deleting rear air ride and going with bilsteins , abs delete (hopefully kits on its way), c-5 fronts if i can come up with some adapter brackets. but for the vibration i'm going to replace both front 1/2 shafts and replace front diff bushings , maybe a gear box and lower steering shaft, i cant see anything else that would cause it......

I am going to delet my ABS going to install a Hydro-boost from a mid lat 90s astro van. i was thinking of replaceing both front 1/2 shafts i think i will do that nex week
