vacuum boost controller

is there a name for the in-cab vacuum boost controller valve? a vacuum line from the turbo goes into the cab with a thumb valve on the end to allow air in(vacuum leak) and control boost. does anybody else use this? how good are they?

You need a delayed system like a granger valve or the ramcharger boost controller. Spool up is very important. Just leaking boost can work, but you give up some spool. There was just the thread on the ramcharger unit, in tech or maybe the lounge, I forget where.
