Re: ujoints?

Ah I found some federal mogul/moog ujoints with end caps with grease zircs. Anyone got any bad Doodie on the moog ujoints? I use the suspension moog parts but just looking to see if anyone has liked or not liked them? Lmk

Re: ujoints?

Anything under the Federal-Mogul brand name is usually good stuff. I worked at O'Reilly's back in the day and was always impressed with their stuff. I run Precision U-Joints (lifetime warranty and greasable) from O'Reilly's.

Re: ujoints?

X2 on the spicer non greasable. The grease fitting actually makes the u-joint weaker because it has to be drilled into and has taken structure away, thus weakening the body its self. I have used Spicer non greasable in all high horsepower cars without any failures.

Re: ujoints?

But the moog joints don't drill into the body but instead utilizing the end cap. Ive replaced too many non-greaseable components over my years. When I get them ill post my results with the moog/federal mogul joints. I do belive they still take pride in being a USA built company also.
