Trans Upgrade ????

At what point should i think about replacing the stock trans with something better. I just have basic mods right now some of which I havent installed yet. The only thing I have done to the trans is put in a Kenne Bell T/C in. I quess I just want to know what options are out there, how much they cost, and where to find them, when come's time to replace or upgrade the stock trans.

tons of info on here do a search...i say the moment you buy a truck, start a trans. fund. Its one of the first, if not the first thing that should be done IMO...some see how far they can take it, some blow up running 14's some low 12's even 11's probably, but it won't last long doing that. You options are rebuild 700r, turbo 400, turbo 350, or 4l80e. Do your research, and I don't know but I don't think that TC is very good???
