Tranny Question

Ok i got a Typhoon motor goin in my S-10 Blazer and I was wondering do I need to change the tranny or will it be able to hold up to the ty motor?? Please if anyone can help it would be great thanks Eddie.

gonzo is right about that....your stock blazer trans wont be around long.

well im in the same boat as DRUNK411 (exploiting the sy/ty engine in a non sy/ty) and have came across an early 80s 700r from a z28 camaro, now if this trans is rebuilt decently stout will it hold up to the sy engine?
