I have just purchased a 93 Typhoon. Tranny shifts through the gears fine for about 5 minutes after a cold start up then loses every gear. Start it up the following day, you'll have gears again for about five minutes. Thoughts?

Checked that, tranny fluid is full.

No funny noises whatsoever. I drove it down to the end of the street, turned around and eased into it. Boost came up nicely, engine wanted to go, but the tranny was having no part of it. When I stopped I had no forward gears or reverse....had to push it back into the driveway.
Like I said....you can drive it for a few minutes from a cold start, but after that few minutes, you'll have no gears at all.
